Nashville Family Photographer | Four generations

Tracy was at a loss as to what to get her Mom for her birthday when she thought of a generation portrait.  Fortunately she chose me to take the photo.  We went to Crockett Park and enjoyed a sunny day surrounded by beautiful flowers.

Here is a preview from Saturday, I hope you like them as much as I do.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE little Avery's pose.  She is so full of personality!

Nashville Photographer | Meet Ray who is half the man he was

I was asked to do a photo for my best friends cousin.  When she told me about Ray I could not resist.  Ray is a man who was in grade school the last time he wore jeans.  He was 500 pounds, and has lost 211 pounds via the subway diet.  He started riding a recombinant bike - when he started he could ride for only 5 miles.  Now he rides 26.2 miles a day.  It was not only a privilege to photograph Ray, it was an honor to meet him and enjoy his enthusiasm at the end of a long day.  Good luck on the rest of your journey Ray.  You are an inspiration!!

This one is my favorite.  I love the fun he is having!!

Nashville Newborn Photographer | Itty bitty Piper surprised us all 7.5 weeks early

Baby girl Piper was born 7.5 weeks early.  Fortunately she weighed in at 5 lbs and was quick to make her way home.  I think she was dying to be photographed - I think this because she was the PERFECT baby for the 3 hours I spent photographing her.

This is Great Grandma Joyce... isn't she gorgeous.  She is as sweet as she is beautiful, and is so very in love with her great granddaughter.

This sweet ballerina found a willing nap companion.  Look at those tiny feet!!

I LOVE this one.  I like how she is snuggled up to the sock monkey.

Great Grandpa is a UT fan, this is a secret photo just for him.  Isn't it precious!!

This is a true testament to how tiny this baby is.  When photographed she was just at 4 lbs 15 ozs.  This was her Grandma's idea, and what a cute photo it made.

Nashville Children's Photographer | Baby Isaac is 6 months already

My friends Liz and Rick were in town this weekend.  Fortunately I convinced them to head over to Crocket Park for a quick impromptu photo shoot.  While Isaac was not too sure about the situation, we still captured a couple of great images.

This was from the first set of portraits I took of Isaac when he was just about 1 month old.  They grow so fast!!

As his Mommy said, he is only missing a twig of wheat to chew on.

He is the most precious baby I think I have ever seen.

Here is that elusive smile we were looking for !!

Nashville, TN Engagement Photographer | Chris and Carissa plus family

I had the pleasure of meeting Carissa one year ago at her friends wedding. I was so excited and honored when she called me to photograph her feature family. We had a great time (albeit hot time) at Crockett Park. Here is a preview for you of the fun we had.

Here is the whole family, with Great Grandma right in the middle.  She was a trooper - I think I could have even convinced her to jump the fence to lay in the wild flowers.

Chris and Carrisa are very happy together.  They were open to anything, and had a great time with the following photos.

I love this picture.  You can see the love in their eyes, and the fun spirit Mykayla has.  She was such a trooper.

Here is my favorite picture of the day.  I LOVE that I kept thinking how great it would be to get into the flowers, but did not want to ask them to jump the fence and lay in what was potentially mud.  I did not have to ask Carissa said how much she wanted to get over there.  I think it was worth it, what do you think?
